Five years ago, at Tengo, we achieved something we had dreamed of since the very foundation of our company — we created our ideal office. But for us, an office was never just a room with desks. We wanted something much more. We wanted a home! A real, vibrant, and inspiring place. A space you’d look forward to coming to, and where you’d want to stay a little longer, because there — you feel your people, your energy, your rhythm.

In this article, we want to share the story of how it all began.

In 2020, we conceived the idea of creating a large and beautiful showroom that would embody our professionalism and creativity. We found the perfect location, but it was far from being a ready-made space for a cozy office. Upon entering the building of an old boiler house, which had long been used as a warehouse, we fell in love with its high ceilings and huge windows. A lot of work had to be done before we could move in.

We were greeted by concrete walls, dust, rusty pipes, and silence, but we wanted to show that even the most unremarkable and forgotten places can be transformed into something completely new, warm, and alive.

We decided to add a second floor. Designing the project with so many creative people on the team was not easy — our discussions sometimes lasted up to three hours. But once the key decisions were made, we started building. It was challenging, but fun.

The reality of it all is best captured in the photos from that time. It’s through them that you can truly appreciate the condition we found the space in and how monumental our task was.

The construction process took us only three months, but during this time, a true transformation took place. Of course, our showroom is a living organism, constantly changing. It couldn’t be any other way. We breathed new life into the old building, and since then, it has existed in a completely new way. Every wall, every detail is the result of our love, hard work, and desire to create something special. Today, it is no longer a boiler house, but a warm, modern space where energy flows, and creative ideas are born and realized.

In our office, we brought to life all the ideas we had long wanted to implement in our projects, testing various finishing materials and furniture. It was an incredible experience of experimentation and self-discovery. Now, we can confidently offer our clients proven solutions, knowing the real results.

A spacious open space — here, nothing stands in the way of ideas. The workstations are arranged to make everyone feel like part of the team, while still having their own zone for comfort and focus.

The meeting room — where our ambitions and the future of the company are born. It’s a place where we discuss not just everyday tasks, but real challenges and bold dreams. Here we argue, agree, argue again — and in the end, we find the strongest solutions.

The kitchen is the heart of the office. We designed it like a real café, where great coffee, lively conversations, and colleagues' laughter create an incredible sense of life. People come here not just for a quick snack, but often “drop by for a minute” and end up staying for half an hour, chatting, sharing news, or diving into a spontaneous exchange of ideas.

And of course, our terrace is a world of its own.
This is where the workday starts with a cup of coffee, and in the evenings we gather for barbecue dinners. It’s a place of strength, where the whole team comes together.

The terrace isn’t just part of the building — it’s our little island of energy and inspiration.

Today, our office is a space for creativity and collaboration. We are open to hosting events, training sessions, workshops, and warm gatherings on the terrace. We’re always happy to welcome guests!
