ORGATEC 2018 - International trade fair for modern working environments in Cologne

The Tengo team pays special attention to specialized fairs and exhibitions. For us exhibitions are either an opportunity to establish contacts with new suppliers and a good chance to learn about new trends.

In 2018, we visited the ORGATEC 2018 International Trade Fair in Cologne, Germany. ORGATEC attracts a wide range of professionals and demonstrates the most relevant innovations in architecture and design. Every two years ORGATEC defines current topics and trends, giving a new creative impulse to the entire industry. For the development of our company, such exhibitions are like powerful inspiration injections: this is an opportunity to communicate with professionals, leaders in the field of design, exchange opinions and views, recharge emotionally and gain new experience from seminars, master classes and forums.

ORGATEC 2018 was attended by 753 companies from 39 countries. Rough estimates state that about 63,000 specialists from 142 countries visited the ORGATEC 2018 Fair over the last day. We were pleased to be among them and look forward to the implementation of the ideas we received in your new offices! In addition, we visited a large number of our partners' stands - BEJOT, MDD, NARBUTAS and many others.

ORGATEC 2018 set an ultimate trend for the next several years - acoustic booths of different sizes and materials for 1, 2 and 4 people. Cabins turned upside down conventional concept of office interior; many cabins are equipped with autonomous ventilation and air conditioning.

The second place among the trends was given to the advanced personal lockers. Modern lockers are protected by different types of locks – electronic, mechanical, access card, code.

The third trend, which we would like to emphasize, is a huge number of poufs other moving, fidgeting, swaying seats for fast stand up meetings. The Fair introduced the idea of fitballs covered with fabric, banquets, office swings, poufs on casters.
